Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Equipment Technician will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime and enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using tools such as an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of parts.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Equipment Technician or similar role.
