DESCRIPTION:
Gaines and Company, founded in 1954, is a well-established residential and commercial site developer is seeking a machine operator with experience in earthwork, underground utilities, and heavy equipment to join our team.
The operator is expected to have experience with a variety of heavy equipment and a demonstrated work ethic. The successful candidate will operate excavators, dozers, and roller end dumps on uneven, off-road territory with the flexibility to operate different equipment depending on the project needs. The operator will also be required to read plans, work together in a crew, perform laborer duties and complete tasks under minimal supervision.
Our heavy equipment operators work with our crews to complete projects safely and on time, operating heavy equipment safely and proficiently in a variety of work environments in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Additional tasks will include conducting equipment inspections and completing maintenance reports.
