Job Summary:

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining construction equipment to facilitate the successful execution of construction and industrial services projects. This position requires a strong knowledge of equipment operation, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with the team. Operate and maintain construction equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and compactors.

  • Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Safely load, transport, and unload materials using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Collaborate with project teams to coordinate equipment operations and ensure project deadlines are met.

Requirements and Education:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience operating construction equipment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secured facilities, including military bases.
  • Proficient in operating a variety of construction equipment.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to equipment operation.
  • Ability to interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with GPS and other relevant construction technology.
