Job description

  • Operating heavy equipment to clear land, level terrain and shape road surfaces
  • Moving large amounts of soil, rocks, and debris to prepare construction sites
  • Reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and grade stakes
  • Collaborating with construction crews and supervisors/foreman to meet project goals
  • Performing daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid drivers license
    โ€ข Certification of vocational training in heavy equipment operation (preferred)
    โ€ข 2-4 years of experience operating bulldozer/excavator
    โ€ข Knowledge of soil composition and grading techniques
    โ€ข Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
    โ€ข Must be able to work in noisy and dusty conditions
    โ€ข Travel to work site
  • Professional Attitude & conduct
    โ€ข Multi-task, interpersonal communication, problem solving, and time management skills are needed.
