NDT Heat Treat Technician – Heath, OH
Full-Time | Local Candidates Only
We are currently seeking experienced NDT Heat Treat Technicians for full-time work in Heath, Ohio. Candidates must be local to the Heath, OH area.
The ideal candidate will have experience performing heat treatment operations in industrial or manufacturing environments while maintaining compliance with applicable procedures, specifications, and safety standards.
Position Summary
The NDT Heat Treat Technician will be responsible for performing and monitoring heat treatment processes on various materials and components. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced industrial environments.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform heat treatment operations in accordance with approved procedures and specifications
  • Set up and operate heat treatment equipment, thermocouples, and monitoring systems
  • Monitor heating and cooling cycles to ensure compliance with temperature requirements
  • Read and interpret heat treatment charts and documentation
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of heat treatment activities
  • Ensure compliance with all company, customer, and safety requirements
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as needed
  • Work closely with quality, production, and inspection teams
  • Support field and shop operations as required
  • Work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts based on operational needs
Qualifications
  • Previous heat treatment experience required
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, refinery, or fabrication environments preferred
  • Strong understanding of heat treatment processes and temperature control systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous NDT experience or certifications are a plus
  • Knowledge of post weld heat treatment (PWHT) preferred
  • Experience using chart recorders, burners, and electrical heat treatment systems preferred
