Job description

Pharmacist | Full-Time


We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team! In this role, you will ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications while providing exceptional patient care and medication counseling.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 12:30 PM–9:00 PM
  • Every other weekend: Saturday & Sunday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM


Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense prescription medications and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  • Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Monitor medication therapy and identify potential drug-related concerns.
  • Compound medications and prepare sterile products as needed.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Manage pharmaceutical inventory and ensure medication safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.


Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
  • Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the practicing state.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and medication therapy.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and patient counseling skills.
  • Sterile compounding experience is a plus.
