Job Family : Strategy & Transformation Consulting Travel Required : Up to 10% Clearance Required : Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do: We are currently seeking a Managing Consultant with deep healthcare strategy experience either directly with the Military Health Care (MHS) system or cultivating healthcare partnerships between MHS and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role supports clients in evaluating, planning, and partnering to optimize healthcare delivery across and between the MHS and VA health care systems. In this role, you will: * Manage client engagements and day-to-day client relationships * Identify opportunities to identify viable, mutually beneficial healthcare delivery partnering between the departments * Serve as a subject matter expert in healthcare planning, including facility master planning and/or ambulatory network design * Execute and oversee client deliverables, including synthesizing the strategic, financial, and operational implications of healthcare planning and analyses * Provide benchmarking insights into a wide range of payer, provider, or health system analytics including financial analysis, clinical performance, and operational efficiency * Synthesize complex healthcare concepts and build a credible roadmap for healthcare delivery and/or infrastructure partnerships through understanding of stakeholder needs * Regularly present findings and recommendations to senior clients, effectively communicating strategies and planning implications through verbal and written deliverables * Proactively identify and assess commercial, MHS, and VA healthcare industry trends that can be utilized in client delivery * Oversee, mentor, and develop more junior colleagues * Collaborate with peers and executive leadership to create and model a positive, high-performing culture What You Will Need * Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred. * Bachelor's degree * NINE (9) or more years of previous work experience in healthcare administration/management experience for a healthcare system and/or a consulting firm. * Prior experience supporting the Military Health System (MHS) preferred. * Clinical or healthcare operations background (ideally MHS or VA), with ability to translate insights into system-level strategy. * Experience executing strategic partnerships across healthcare entities (department-level collaboration preferred) * Proven ability to lead complex workstreams, meet deadlines, and deliver results * Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Demonstrated efficiency, adaptability, and problem-solving in complex environments * Experience mentoring and developing junior staff What Would Be Nice To Have: * An advanced degree in a relevant field (MHA, MBA, MPH, MPA, PhD, or similar) * Experience in healthcare planning in both MHS and VA either directly for the departments or in a management consulting capacity * Direct experience and track record of executing mutually beneficial partnerships between the departments * Track record of supporting successful business development efforts through the capture continuum The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
