Job description

Job Title: Software Safety Developer/Analyst Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * Responsibilities: Main responsibilities encompass the identification, evaluation, and reduction of safety risks in software systems through comprehensive analysis of design and code, unit testing, and thorough document review. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field. 0-2 years of experience in software development, software engineering, systems engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum Clearance Required to start: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Required Skills: Knowledge of software development principles and engineering best practices. Proficient in at least two programming languages.

Familiarity with SQL and /or relational database concepts. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to support technical documentation and follow established engineering processes Desired: Experience with one or more of the following programming languages - Ada, C++, Python.

Active CompTIA Security+ certification. Exposure to software safety, mission-critical systems, regulated environments, or defense/aerospace programs. Security Clearance: Secret - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
