Generally operating in a strategic capacity, works with line management to evaluate existing systems and/or end-user needs to design, recommend, and assist in the implementation of complex system changes.  Familiar with a broad range of healthcare-related business and/or IT concepts, practices, and procedures.  Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  Performs a variety of complicated tasks.  Creates value for an organization through the application of knowledge, techniques, and assets to improve business performance.  May involve providing objective appraisals where it is often easier for an expert outsider to see the broader picture.  Typically required to summarize and present findings to audiences of various organizational levels.  Engagements are typically no longer than 12 months.

              Experience leading a matrix project team to define, establish, and ensure completion of all program milestones while adhering to timelines and budgets.

              Proven experience managing projects at various levels of complexity using different Project Management Methodologies

              Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Software development Lifecycle (SDLC)

              Extensive experience in creating and managing detailed project plans for small to high complexity projects

              Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

              prior experience leading cross-functional teams of more than 15 resources which may consist of employees, contractors, and consulting partners

              Prior experience leading large and complex technology integration initiatives is a must

              Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities

              Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope

              Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client

              Minimizes exposure and risk on project

              Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

              Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis

              Prior experience delivering initiatives utilizing agile project management

              Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

              Utilizes solid knowledge of the Project Management Institute's standards and terminology.

              Extensive creativity required across areas of expertise.

Additional Information
