Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Implementation Project Manager with PBM for a 5+ month contract position with a Major Healthcare Company located in Minnetonka MN.  This position is 100% remote.
Compensation: $55.00 - $68.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

This is a client-facing role focused on leading new Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) client implementations, including Health Plan and Government Programs such as Medicaid and Medicare. The Senior Implementation Project Manager will partner with cross-functional teams including operations, product, and technology to ensure successful, high-quality, and on-time client implementations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead new Health Plan implementations across Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare, and Exchange lines of business
  • Own implementation objectives for new PBM clients, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and client expectations
  • Develop and maintain detailed work plans, schedules, resource plans, status reports, and implementation priorities
  • Direct and coordinate cross-functional teams across operations, business, product, and technical areas to deliver high-quality, properly scoped project requirements on time
  • Lead complex implementation workstreams, including Operations Readiness (Member Services, System Access & Training, Vendor Transition, Reporting, Pharmacy Helpdesk) and Eligibility
  • Ensure timely and accurate implementation tracking, analysis, reporting, and communication using established policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates in ServiceNow (SN) automated workflows, ensuring QA standards and implementation timelines are met
  • Review deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards, implementation requirements, and team performance metrics
  • Obtain sign-offs on deliverables from internal and external stakeholders and make timely decisions to keep implementations on track for go-live readiness
  • Identify risks, recommend solutions, escalate issues as needed, and ensure solutions align with client requirements
  • Partner with Account Management to track, document, and close all implementation items in alignment with client intent
  • Lead cross-functional quality initiatives and conduct post–go-live lessons learned reviews with clients and executive leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience in PBM, healthcare, or the pharmacy industry
  • 2 years of experience in implementation management or large healthcare project management
  • Client-facing experience with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience leading multiple implementations or managing workstreams within large implementations
  • Strong ability to multitask, work independently, collaborate with leadership, and ensure client satisfaction
  • Willingness to work through year-end holidays as needed to support client go-live activities

Desired skills:

  • 1 year of experience using MS Project
  • 1 year of experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience supporting Medicare and/or Medicaid client implementations
  • PBM Account Management experience
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive results in a matrixed environment
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to assess client needs through active listening and consultative engagement

Pay range: $68.00 - $72.00 per hour
