Job description

Healthcare Facilities Executive, Ambulatory Network Operations

Northeast Ohio | Executive-level multi-site facilities leadership

Some facilities roles are about keeping buildings running. This one is about building the operating model behind a major healthcare network.

This is a high-visibility executive leadership opportunity for someone who knows how to lead complex facilities operations across a large, multi-site healthcare environment. You'll help shape a scalable facilities program supporting hundreds of outpatient and ambulatory care locations, while partnering closely with health system leaders, operational stakeholders, and regional facilities teams.

What you'll do?

  • Lead facilities operations across a large ambulatory healthcare network, supporting maintenance, engineering, service delivery, vendor performance, asset management, and operational consistency
  • Build and advance a scalable facilities management program across hundreds of outpatient locations, helping standardize processes and improve reliability across the network
  • Partner with senior healthcare executives, clinical leaders, administrators, and operational stakeholders to align facilities strategy with patient care, growth, safety, and service goals
  • Drive regulatory readiness, life safety, environmental compliance, accreditation support, and operational discipline across a complex healthcare portfolio
  • Oversee budgets, workforce planning, performance expectations, contracted services, and continuous improvement initiatives tied to cost, productivity, patient experience, and organizational image

Why you should consider this role?

  • This is not a single-building facilities role. It is an executive seat with broad influence across a major regional healthcare footprint
  • You'll have the opportunity to shape the future-state facilities model for a large ambulatory network, not just maintain what already exists
  • The role sits at the intersection of healthcare operations, facilities strategy, executive partnership, financial performance, and patient experience
  • You'll work in an environment where facilities leadership has direct impact on clinical access, caregiver experience, safety, compliance, and the ability for outpatient care teams to perform at their best
  • This is a strong fit for a senior facilities leader who wants enterprise-level scope, complex stakeholder engagement, and the chance to build something scalable across a growing healthcare platform

Who can be successful in this role?

  • A strategic operator with at least five years of facilities management, facilities engineering, or business operations services experience, including both hard and soft facilities services within a healthcare or highly regulated environment
  • A senior healthcare facilities or facilities engineering leader with experience overseeing large, multi-site operations across a health system, ambulatory network, hospital network, or similarly complex clinical environment
  • Someone who has led facilities operations through multiple layers of leadership, including regional managers, site leaders, supervisors, technicians, vendors, and contracted service partners
  • A leader with direct ownership of building systems, maintenance operations, life safety, regulatory readiness, vendor performance, asset management, capital projects, workforce planning, and service consistency across multiple healthcare locations
  • Someone who can credibly partner with C-suite executives, healthcare administrators, clinical operations leaders, physicians, and frontline facilities teams while still understanding the realities of day-to-day facilities work
