Job Summary
The Health Care Management Program at Clayton State University is seeking applicants for a Part-Time Instructor to teach three to six credit hours per semester starting August 1, 2026.
Responsibilities
  • Approximately 60 percent of this position is involved with teaching a variety of courses in the Health Care Management and/or Health Sciences undergraduate programs. (Up to six credit hours per semester)
  • Approximately 30 percent of this position is involved with lecture preparation, grading exams and papers, meeting with students.
  • Approximately 10 percent of this position is involved with participation in Health Care Management, HCMG, Departmental curriculum activities.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Health Sciences, Health Education, or related field.
  • Demonstrate the ability to teach courses in the Health Care Management program at the undergraduate level.
  • Awareness and sensitivity to the educational goals of the institution.
  • Commitment to active learning and the use of technology.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctorate Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Health Sciences, Health Education, or related field.
  • Ability to teach healthcare concepts, theories, and applications.
  • Professional and/or managerial experience in the healthcare arena.
