Location: Houston, Texas (Full-time, Permanent)

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Fluoroscopy/X-ray Field Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced Fluoroscopy / X-ray equipment across multiple customer sites. This field-based position will focus on maximizing equipment uptime through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations, and system performance verification. The successful candidate will primarily support Fluoroscopy / X-ray Field Service Engineers and will serve as a trusted technical resource, providing expert support to clinical teams while ensuring all equipment operates within manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements. This role includes participation in an on-call rotation and offers the opportunity to work with industry-leading breast imaging technologies in a growing healthcare market.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections on Fluoroscopy / X-ray Field Service Engineer
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and software-related equipment issues
Conduct system calibrations and performance testing to manufacturer standards
Complete service documentation and maintain accurate maintenance records
Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal stakeholders
Respond to service calls and minimize equipment downtime
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
Support equipment installations, upgrades, and system relocations as required
Participate in an on-call support rotation
Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of field service experience supporting diagnostic imaging equipment
Experience servicing Fluoroscopy / X-ray Field Service Engineer, with preference given to candidates familiar with
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across electrical, mechanical, and software systems
Associate degree in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Imaging Technology, military training, or equivalent technical experience
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Houston area
Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
