Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Healthcare Call Center Representative to lead a team in a high-volume healthcare call center environment. The primary responsibilities include overseeing the operations of patient service representatives and referral coordinators, optimizing physician schedules, and managing call center metrics. You will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and maintain accountability for team performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Departmental Leadership: Manage and evaluate a team of approximately 22 patient service representatives and referral coordinators, primarily working remotely.
  • Provider Schedule Management: Oversee, adjust, and optimize master schedules for over 38 physicians.
  • Call & Data Operations: Monitor key metrics, queue times, answer rates, and abandoned calls; manage team metrics to ensure optimal performance.
  • Talent Management: Partner with HR on hiring, performance management, and team development.
  • High-Volume Oversight: Drive performance across outbound referral outreach, inbound scheduling, and schedule adjustments due to provider availability changes.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience in a healthcare call center/service center environment.
  • Solid understanding of medical scheduling workflows, clinic operations, and patient access protocols.
  • Proven success tracking KPIs, call queues, and performance analytics to improve operations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with confidence to collaborate with physicians and executive leadership.
