Job description

Position Title: Healthcare Business Banker
Salary Range: $175,000-$275,000 / Year, DOE + Incentive Compensation + RSUs
This is an opportunity for an established Healthcare Business Banker to step into a high-visibility growth role with a major financial institution and build something meaningful in the Southern California market. You'll develop and expand relationships with physicians, medical practices, surgery centers, and larger healthcare organizations while originating significant lending and deposit opportunities and connecting clients to private banking and wealth management solutions. The ideal candidate is a polished, highly connected healthcare banker who knows how to win sophisticated clients through relationships and value, not price. You bring a proven book of business development success, strong healthcare industry knowledge, and the social acumen to become a trusted advisor to high-value clients and referral partners
Responsibilities
  • Build and grow a portfolio of healthcare banking relationships across Southern California, including physicians, medical groups, surgery centers and other sophisticated healthcare organizations
  • Generate new lending and deposit opportunities through proactive business development, existing relationships, strategic introductions and targeted prospecting
  • Develop and strengthen referral networks with CPAs, attorneys, medical associations and other centers of influence
  • Advise clients on banking solutions while identifying opportunities to connect business relationships with private banking, wealth management and other financial services
  • Cultivate warm opportunities generated through the bank's expanding Southern California footprint while consistently developing new relationships in the market
  • Maintain an active pipeline and track prospecting, client activity and business development opportunities through Salesforce
  • Represent the bank at healthcare conferences, association events, client meetings and other strategic networking opportunities

Requirements
  • 7+ years of commercial or business banking experience with a strong specialization in healthcare banking
  • Proven success originating significant healthcare relationships, ideally including $20M+ in healthcare loans and $10M+ in healthcare deposits
  • Experience managing a sophisticated portfolio with approximately $150M-$200M+ in outstanding loans and a focus on larger, relationship-driven transactions
  • Established experience working with physicians, medical groups, surgery centers, and other complex healthcare organizations
  • Strong business development track record with the ability to clearly articulate how you prospect, build referral networks, win relationships and generate new business
  • Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM along with strong Excel skills and familiarity with modern banking and loan delivery systems

Benefits
  • Significant incentive compensation potential with performance-based earnings paid quarterly or annually
  • Annual RSU opportunities typically ranging from $25,000-$50,000
  • Comprehensive medical benefits with eligibility beginning the first of the month following your start date
  • 401(k) plan with a 3% employer contribution

If you have the relationships, healthcare banking expertise and proven production to build a market-not simply inherit one-apply today and take ownership of an opportunity with serious earning and leadership potential.
