Salon Services PRO is a professional beauty distributor based in Washington serving licensed professionals in the beauty and wellness industry. With over 200 employees in 10 states and 30 store locations, we have grown into one of the largest independent professional distributors in the country. We are proud to have a diverse portfolio of 50+ brands that encompass best and brightest beauty brands. Additionally, we offer education, business consulting and other forms of support for today's licensed beauty professional.

We are currently seeking a Customer Care Associate to serve our customers by providing product and service information; resolving product and service problems. Our primary goal is to provide the best possible customer service experience by delivering 100% accuracy on order entry and maintaining superior customer service skills.

  • Assist with placement of orders, credits, or exchanges
  • Interact with customers via phone, email, chat, SMS, logging on internal CRM where appropriate
  • Opens customer accounts by recording account information, including ecommerce
  • Maintains customer records by updating account information
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
  • Has excellent knowledge of vendor, products, and promotional offerings
  • Work directly with assigned consultants to provide the best service to customers
  • Acting as company gatekeeper, transferring to appropriate office staff when necessary
  • Meet personal/team sales targets

Proven customer service and retail experience

Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook

Excellent knowledge and fluency in the English language, written and verbal

Excellent knowledge and fluency in the Spanish language, written and verbal, a plus

Pleasant phone voice and active listening skills

Ability to multi-task, priorities and manage time effectively

Ability to operate office equipment sufficiently to perform the job (i.e. copy machine, printer, etc)

High school degree or equivalent
