BRGMC is seeking compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented Mental Health Technicians (MHTs) to join our inpatient behavioral health unit. As an essential part of the care team, you'll provide direct patient support, help maintain a therapeutic environment and play a key role in the healing process for individuals facing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients with daily living activities and personal care

Support patients in managing emotions and behaviors safely

Observe, document, and report patient behaviors and progress

Facilitate or assist with therapeutic activities and group sessions

Respond to crisis situations using verbal de-escalation and safety protocols

Collaborate with nurses, social workers, and clinicians to ensure quality care

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or mental health training preferred

Prior experience in behavioral health, residential care, or related field is a plus

Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively with a diverse population

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-focused inpatient environment

CPR and MOAB certification preferred or willing to obtain
