Job description

You will help position Health Language as the critical semantic and normalization layer that enables AI to operate accurately, safely, and at scale across clinical, administrative, financial, and analytic use cases.

Operating with significant autonomy, you will partner closely with executive leadership, product, clinical, data science, sales, and strategy teams to translate deeply technical capabilities into clear, compelling market narratives that resonate with providers, health systems, payers, partners, and health technology innovators.

  • Reduce confusion around clinical language, terminology, "AI readiness," and data quality across healthcare
  • Elevate Health Language as a trusted enabler of safe, explainable, and scalable healthcare AI

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of major marketing initiatives that position Health Language as foundational to healthcare AI, analytics, and interoperability.

  • Develop gotomarket strategies that connect Health Language capabilities to priority AIadjacent use cases, including clinical documentation improvement, analytics, quality measurement, risk adjustment, revenue integrity, and AIenabled workflows.
  • Conduct highlevel market analysis to understand how healthcare organizations perceive AI, data readiness, normalization, and trust-and identify gaps in understanding that impede adoption.
  • Oversee integrated marketing programs (thought leadership, content, campaigns, events, partnerships, and digital presence) focused on educating the market about the relationship between data normalization, clinical language, and effective AI.
  • Partner with executive leadership, product management, clinical experts, data science, and sales to ensure consistent, accurate, and credible external representation of Health Language's role in AIenabled healthcare transformation.
  • Serve as a senior advisor on AIrelated positioning and market perception, helping shape how Wolters Kluwer Health communicates credibility, responsibility, and differentiation in an AIsaturated market.
  • Evaluate and integrate marketing technologies and platforms that support scalable AIfocused storytelling, reach, and measurement of market understanding.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, industry groups, standards bodies, and strategic partners to extend Health Language's visibility as a trusted normalization layer for AI.
  • Drive continuous improvement of marketing processes, ensuring AIrelated Health Language messaging is consistent, repeatable, and durable across channels.
  • Mentor and guide marketing staff, building fluency in health language concepts, AI enablement, data normalization, and buyer education.

Required Skills & Capabilities

  • AI Market Literacy (Healthcare): Ability to clearly explain the relationship between data quality, normalization, and responsible healthcare AI adoption.
  • Healthcare Infrastructure Perspective: Deep familiarity with how foundational capabilities (not just applications) drive value across provider, payer, and platform ecosystems.
  • Positioning & Market Education Leadership: Proven ability to make complex, invisible infrastructure understandable and indispensable to buyers.
  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Experience shaping longterm awareness and credibility in emerging and evolving categories such as healthcare AI.
  • Advanced Market Analysis: Ability to translate hypedriven AI narratives into grounded, differentiated positioning anchored in real healthcare needs.
