Position Overview

Balanced Bodies Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia. As a vital member of our onsite rehabilitation center, you will provide expert care in a dynamic environment focused on restoring patients' mobility and improving their quality of life. Work Environment

The work environment is collaborative and supportive, consisting of a close-knit team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities, limitations, and goals.

  • Maintain open communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to enhance treatment effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients suffering from orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-operative recovery, sports injuries, joint pain, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Your goal will be to help these patients restore their full range of motion and enhance their functional capabilities in daily life. This includes developing tailored fitness programs to boost their overall health and instill confidence in their physical abilities.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist is required.
  • Possess an unblemished professional record without any history of board or disciplinary actions.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practice.
