Health & Wellness Manager - Registered Nurse (RN)

Make an Impact Beyond Traditional Nursing

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse ready to step into a leadership role where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of young adults?

We are seeking a Health & Wellness Manager to lead our on-site Wellness Services Center and oversee the delivery of high-quality health and wellness services for our students.

This is a unique opportunity for an RN who enjoys leadership, mentoring, program development, and working with young people. Rather than a traditional bedside nursing environment, you will lead a multidisciplinary wellness program focused on prevention, education, care coordination, and helping students stay healthy and successful while completing their education and career training.

What You'll Do

As the Health & Wellness Manager, you will:

  • Lead, support, and develop the Wellness Services team.
  • Oversee medical, dental, mental health, and other contracted wellness services.
  • Coordinate student healthcare, referrals, chronic condition management, and follow-up services.
  • Build relationships with local hospitals, healthcare providers, and community resources.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage within the Wellness Department.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, medication administration requirements, medical record standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.
  • Oversee departmental reporting, planning supplies, equipment, and budget.
  • Partner with Safety & Security and other departments regarding student health and safety needs.
  • Promote preventative healthcare, wellness education, healthy lifestyles, and positive student outcomes.
  • Train, mentor, and develop Wellness staff while creating a supportive and accountable team environment.
  • Work collaboratively with center leadership and departments to ensure students receive the services and support they need to succeed.
Why This Role?

If you're looking to move beyond traditional bedside nursing while continuing to use your clinical experience, this position offers the opportunity to combine nursing, leadership, education, and program management.

You’ll have the ability to influence the overall health and wellness program, develop your team, collaborate with community healthcare partners, and help young adults overcome barriers so they can successfully complete their training and move forward in their careers.

If you're an RN who enjoys leading people, improving programs, and making a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where the center is located.
  • Associate degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead a team while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and high standards of care.
