Job description

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Home Health Supervisor in Clearwater, FL! This position is on site. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:
Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5:00pm
On-Call: Rotating Friday - Friday once every 6 weeks
Pay: $83,000 - $90,000 per year based on experience
Responsibilities of the Home Health Supervisor:

  • Must be available at all times during business hours
  • Supervises of nursing and therapy staff during operating hours
  • Participates in implementation of policies and procedures
  • Responsible for the delivery of nursing services through the daily scheduling, assignment, coordination, supervision, and training of assigned personnel
  • Responsible for supervision, coordination and delivery of therapy services, i.e. PT, OT, ST, and MSW
  • Advises, counsels, orients, develops, evaluates and supervises designated personnel under the direction of the Director of Nursing/Administrator
  • Responsible for supervision of Home Health aides
  • Conducts field evaluations of each staff member on a yearly basis.
  • Reviews and investigates the clinical content of the records of patients under his/her supervision to ensure quality of care standards and regulatory guidelines
  • Collects all clinical documentation to ensure timely submission and accuracy of billing process, including POC forms
  • Responsible for collection and evaluation of nursing statistics including productivity and timeliness of paperwork
  • Coordinates discharge planning with Home Health Coordinators/Liaisons to ensure smooth and accurate delivery of services
  • Identifies and informs the Director of Nursing/Administrator immediately of any pending staffing or patient issues requiring his/her intervention
  • Identifies and responds to nursing needs of the patient through screening of initial intakes and patient-related telephone calls. Ensuring the development, implementation, and updates of the individualized plan of care.
  • Participates in HHA's audit and Utilization review Committees as directed
  • Ensures patients needs are continually being assessed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications for the Home Health Supervisor:
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Must be licensed in Florida as a Registered Nurse
  • Requires two or more years of home health experience and preferably 1 year of supervisory experience
  • WellSky, Kinnser software experience preffered
  • Medicare and community services knowledge required.
