Make a Difference as a Safety and Support Representative

At Children's Mercy Camber Olathe, we ensure every person is safe and connected to a strong family and a healthy community. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Safety and Support Representatives. Camber is proud to be a workplace that prioritizes the health and happiness of our team. We currently hold a work wellbeing score of 83, reflecting our commitment to a supportive and thriving professional environment.

Schedule and Work-Life Balance

To support our team's wellbeing and operational needs, this position follows a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week. This structure allows for dedicated blocks of time to focus on patient care while providing extended periods for personal rest and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

You will supervise unit activity and patient movement to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly environment. Working closely with a team of professionals, you will follow individualized treatment plans and provide essential support to youth and adults. You will also act as a role model, focusing on solutions and building upon the strengths of the children and families we serve.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required. We require at least one year of related experience or training, along with intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general typing.

Physical requirements include moving throughout the facility, standing for extended periods, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally. Successful completion of crisis intervention and safety hold training is a condition of employment.

Why Join Camber?

Our culture is driven by family connection and fueled by collaboration. We value diverse perspectives and always ask ourselves, “What would you want for your child?” If you are a solution-focused professional with a heart for helping others, we encourage you to apply and help us continue our mission of providing authenticity and compassion to our community.
