Job description

Nurse Practitioner-Hospitalist Acute Nocturnist

Renown Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospitalist Medicine team, providing acute inpatient care during night shift hours. This position plays a key role in delivering highquality, evidencebased care within a collaborative hospitalist model. The role also supports Renown’s academic mission through its affiliations with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine and the Orvis School of Nursing, contributing to a culture of teaching, innovation, and clinical excellence.

Position Highlights

  • Comprehensive inpatient assessments including admissions and crosscoverage

  • Collaboration with hospitalists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care

  • Management of acute changes in patient condition with appropriate escalation
