Program Assistant for Apex Program

The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia is dedicated to providing those we serve with quality innovative behavioral healthcare in a recovery-based environment. CSB of Middle Georgia is located in Dublin, Georgia, and the agency currently serves residents of Bleckley, Dodge, Johnson, Laurens, Montgomery, Pulaski, Telfair, Treutlen, Wheeler, and Wilcox counties in Georgia; and in our Ogeechee Behavioral Health Division, serving residents of Burke, Emanuel, Glascock, Jefferson, Jenkins, and Screven counties in Georgia. The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia is searching for its next Program Assistant for the Apex Program! The Apex Program Assistant will be responsible for providing services related to delivery of mental health care to assigned clients at the designated school locations and will provide consultation services to the school staff to support the overall mental health goals of the school. The Program Assistant will be required to frequently travel to and from schools and counties with a company vehicle.

Responsibilities of the Program Assistant:

  • Ensure that all program referrals are scheduled for intake after receiving referrals. The selected candidate will also continuously follow-up; when necessary.
  • Assist the Apex Program Manager with contacting families who have been non-compliant to re-engage in program services.
  • Travel to each Apex school at least once monthly to discuss the program's progress, problems, concerns, and/or suggestions for improvement and report findings back to the Apex Program Manager.
  • Ensure that Apex therapists have weekly schedules completed and submitted to scheduling team to ensure top-level productivity.
  • Assist with data collection and reporting for monthly programmatic reports.
  • Providing in-person support to Apex therapist in their assigned locations.
  • Attend community partner/organizational meetings and events and present updates in program.
  • Assist with new hire and annual trainings
  • Assist in planning monthly activities/campaigns based on theme of the month or at the request of the Apex school. (Ex. Drug Awareness, Children's Mental Health Awareness, Suicide Prevention, etc.)
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent) required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous secretarial/administrative assistant experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills
