About the Role
As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be the primary clinical therapy provider for in-house mental health services at a Skilled Nursing Facility. You’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and facility staff while integrating behavioral and physical healthcare.

  • Competitive Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 Based on relevant experience, with monthly bonus opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and provide ongoing psychotherapy to address mental health issues

  • Manage your caseload and schedule with a minimum of 5 therapy hours daily

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet residents’ emotional, social, and psychological needs

  • Ensure compliance with all documentation requirements, including Medicare and commercial insurance plans

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Must hold a clinical license in Illinois (LCSW, LCPC, Clinical Psychologist) Unfortunately, we cannot accept any other licensure at this time

  • Experience: Preference for geriatric or long-term care populations. Understanding of Medicare/Medicaid is beneficial but not required

  • Skills: Excellent communication, multi-tasking ability, and strong patient care skills

  • Additional Requirements: NPI number (we can assist with this process)
