Are you a data-driven leader with a passion for patient care and operational excellence? Wake Radiology UNC Health Rexis seeking a dynamic RadiologyScheduling Supervisor to lead our centralized and MRI scheduling operations. This is an in-office position in the North Hills area of Raleigh.

The Mission:

As the Scheduling Supervisor, you will oversee the centralized scheduling of imaging studies (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, X-Ray, Bone Density, Nuclear Medicine and PET) across multiple locations. You will oversee a team of 30+ schedulers, track operations and metrics daily, and use data to enhance performance. Beyond managing central and MRI scheduling, you will serve as a key partner to the Ancillary Services Manager, providing essential support for broader departmental initiatives and ensuring seamless coordination across the entire imaging lifecycle.

What We Are Looking For…

A leader who can balance the \"big picture\" of departmental goals with the daily details of a high-volume call center.

  • You will take a hands‑on approach to mentoring and developing our Senior Lead Schedulers, empowering them to grow as supervisors and ensuring a strong leadership pipeline.
  • You will foster accountability, continuous learning, and a \"patient‑first\" mentality within your team.
  • You will ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and insurance requirements across your team, maintaining the highest standards for patient confidentiality and data security.
  • You will track call volumes, response times, and abandonment rates, turning those numbers into actionable improvements for the department.
  • You are willing to support the Ancillary Services Manager in cross‑functional projects involving medical records, image retrieval, and reading room coordination.

What You Bring…

You aren’t just a manager; you’re a coach and a builder. You have technical \"know‑how\" of medical imaging combined with the \"people‑skills\" to lead and develop a large team effectively.

  • 5+ years of healthcare experience, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • A track record of identifying talent when interviewing candidates
  • You know how to provide feedback and support to create a high-performing team.
  • Previous experience in radiology scheduling, centralized scheduling or high-volume call centers is essential. (Bonus points if you're a pro with EPIC!).
  • You are familiar with imaging terminology (MRI, CT, Mammography) and understand the nuances of scheduling protocols.
  • A Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Healthcare Administration or Business is preferred, along with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • A highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and profit‑sharing.

Ready to Make Your Mark?
If you’re a leader who believes that operational excellence starts with accuracy and ends with an exceptional patient journey, we want to talk to you.
