What You Will Do

Our consultants on the Defense & Security AI & Data team help clients maximize the value of their data and automate business processes. This high performing team works with clients to implement the full spectrum of data analytics and data science, from data querying and wrangling to data engineering, to data visualization, dashboarding, and business intelligence (BI), to predictive analytics. Our services enable our clients to define their information strategy, enable mission critical insights and data-driven decision making, reduce cost and complexity, increase trust, and improve budget justifications and decision-making.

This individual will support organizational and mission goals within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) intersecting Health Programs. This role requires hands‑on technical expertise and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to
  • Design and development of data visualization and dashboard solutions to provide required health analytics insights using Tableau or Power BI
  • Leading and reviewing, data cleaning scripts using tools such as Python and R
  • Maintain and enhance dashboards, analytics solutions, and reporting tools used in operational and strategic decision-making
  • Focus on client services, while also supporting business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development
  • Support business development (such as RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers), internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development
What You Will Need
  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Desire to work with health data analytics, information governance, information management or informatics
  • Ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders in Arlington, VA.
What Would Be Nice To Have
  • Strong foundational knowledge in information systems in healthcare
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across varied assignments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Health Level Seven framework and standards for data.
  • Active DHS Public Trust
  • Experience with Databricks
  • Experience with automation tools such as PowerApps and UiPath
  • Strong communication skills with the ability for oral and written communication with senior levels of management and the Customer
