We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented InsuranceVerification Specialist to join our billing department in McKinney, TX.
This role isessential in supporting business operations through timely insuranceverifications and accurate account monitoring. If you thrive in a fast-paced,team-driven environment and are passionate about providing excellent customerservice, we want to hear from you!
KeyResponsibilities
  • Verify insurance benefits and accurately document patient financial responsibility in the EMR system
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of all insurance data prior to client intake
  • Track and document payer-specific requirements and communicate updates to the team
  • Coordinate with intake and billing departments on demographic and insurance issues
  • Respond to incoming calls professionally and assist with insurance-related inquiries
  • Provide ongoing support to the billing department as needed
  • Complete and report on all VOB (Verification of Benefits) requests daily

RequiredQualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • At least 1 year of experience in insurance verification (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with in-network payers and related tools
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
