Job description

The IT Shared Services Manager is responsible for IT Asset Management (ITAM), software, hardware, vendor, and contract management. The Manager also plays a key role interfacing between all areas of the business and IT.
This is an onsite position, located in Springfield, Missouri.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Manages the operations of the IT asset and inventory functions.
  • Manages the operations of the IT contract management process.
  • Minimizes IT cost through standardization and process improvement.
  • Oversees procurement, vendor negotiations and vendor management.
  • Partners with legal and procurement business teams.
  • Defines and enhances ITAM processes.
  • Manages subordinate staff supporting contract, audit, vendor, and asset management.
  • Liaises between IT vendors and leadership.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Certificate(s) or License(s): ITIL
  • Years of experience: 5+

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
  • Experience managing capital and operation IT budgets
  • IT procurement experience
  • ITIL expertise
  • Contract management experience
  • Vendor management experience
  • Experience defining and implementing efficient processes for vendor and contract management
  • IT Management experience is required

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Less than 10%

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Regular computer work and sitting
  • Occasional walking and standing
  • Seldom to never lifting up to 50lbs

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
  • Develops objectives and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within general scope of established operational goals and plans. Day-to-day work and decisions do not require direction or review by immediate supervisor. End results are reviewed by supervisor.
