Job description

We are seeking an EHR System Analyst!

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We meet people in their homes and communities and help connect them to the resources. We serve Southeastern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services, working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. Our services are intended to be collaborative and personalized for the individual.
The EHR System Analyst is responsible for supporting the daily use, functionality, and optimization of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role provides frontline support to providers and staff, assists with training, and participates in testing and implementation of new features and system improvements. The Analyst helps maintain EHR workflows, supports troubleshooting needs, and collaborates with the vendor and internal teams to ensure the EHR operates efficiently and reliably. This position works closely with clinical staff, providers, and IT team members and serves as a key contributor to ongoing EHR enhancement efforts. More complex projects and system-wide design decisions will be escalated to the Senior EHR System Analyst.
The pay range for this position is $54,000.00-$69,000.00 annually based on experience, education, and/or licensure.
Essential Functions:
  • Provide daily support to end users across clinical and operational teams in their use of the EHR system, including basic troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Triage system issues, resolving those within scope and escalating more complex issues to the Senior EHR System Analyst or vendor as appropriate
  • Serve as the point of contact for user questions and routine technical assistance
  • Assists in maintaining EHR workflows, templates, and documentation standards as directed by the Managing Director of IT, with input from the Senior EHR System Analyst
  • Performs initial testing of minor changes, updates, or enhancements to the EHR system
  • Supports documentation of processes, updates, and user guides
  • Coordinates with HR and assists in delivering initial EHR training to new staff and providers
  • Provides routine refresher training and user support for existing staff
  • Assists with creating basic training and communication materials for new features or updates
  • Assists with testing new features, upgrades, and patches, following structured testing plans established by the Senior EHR System Analyst
  • Provides �day-of� go-live support to staff during system updates or functionality changes
  • Helps prepare and distribute basic announcement documentation for changes to the EHR affecting users
  • Maintains clear and professional communication with internal teams and the EHR vendor regarding support tickets and system issues
  • Works with clinical staff and providers to understand routine system concerns and improvement opportunities, escalating when appropriate.
  • Participates in relevant training and meetings to remain current on EHR system functionality
  • Contribute to departmental projects as assigned by the Managing Director of IT.
  • Travel within the designated service area
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
Education/Licensure:
  • A high school degree or GED equivalent is required
  • A bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology, Informatics, Computer Science or related fields is preferred

Experience:
  • 2-4 years of experience supporting an EHR system in a behavioral health or healthcare setting is required
  • 1 year of prior experience with the CareLogic or NextGen EHR preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations is required
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written is required
  • Excellent organizational skills are required
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • An appropriate level of auto insurance coverage is required
  • Ability to manage deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment is required
  • The ability to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment is required
  • The ability to maintain a high-speed internet connection is required

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer is required
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
