Description
OVERVIEW:
  • The Senior Communications Manager oversees and manages complex communications initiatives that impact the strategy of Emory Healthcare.
  • Works closely with executive leadership to create detailed messaging for staff and physicians.
  • This individual manages communications related to employee and physician engagement, nursing initiatives, human resources and facilities/building matters.
  • In addition to internal communications, this person will partner with Media Relations for external communications.
  • The ideal candidate is highly strategic with the ability to adapt content for both internal and external audiences.
  • The Senior Communications Manager needs to identify what should be shared with employees or media, then be able to work collaboratively with executives, Communications, Marketing and Media Relations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Marketing or other related field.
  • Six years of experience writing, editing and public relations/media knowledge with excellent communication and organizational skills.
