Job description

Position Summary
The Dynamics Consulting Manager is responsible for leading the consulting and project management teams within the Business Intelligence group, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics GP and Business Central solutions. This role provides both functional and technical leadership, serving as the primary escalation point for complex client, delivery, and customer relationship challenges.
This position is responsible for driving successful project delivery, ensuring high-quality consulting services, and developing team members through coaching, mentorship, and career guidance. This role also owns customer engagement and satisfaction, ensuring strong partnerships and proactive communication across all client interactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage Dynamics consultants and project managers across implementation and support engagements
  • Serve as primary functional and technical escalation point for complex client and internal issues
  • Act as executive escalation point for customer concerns, ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction
  • Own customer engagement strategy across accounts, including relationship health, communication cadence, and issue resolution
  • Oversee delivery of Dynamics GP and Business Central projects, ensuring quality, timeline, and budget adherence
  • Drive best practices and standardization across consulting methodologies, project delivery, and documentation
  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members, including career planning, performance feedback, and skill development
  • Partner with sales and leadership teams to support pre-sales activities, solution design, and scoping
  • Monitor team utilization, project performance, and margins; identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure effective communication of risks, issues, and status updates within internal systems and leadership forums
  • Collaborate with internal teams (support, development, and BI) to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Assist in building training programs, knowledge transfer initiatives, and onboarding materials for consulting staff
  • Identify opportunities to expand services, improve client outcomes, and grow recurring revenue streams
  • Promote a strong team culture aligned with Centre's values of Ownership, Doing It Right, and Trusting Partnerships

Education/Experience/Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in Dynamics GP and/or Business Central consulting, implementation, and support
  • 2+ years of leadership or team management experience preferred
  • Strong functional and/or technical expertise in Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer relationship management and executive communication skills
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics GP, Business Central, or related technologies preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
  • Occasional lifting (up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds) may be required.
