Overview

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of assigned projects across departments and functional areas.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and accommodate plans to address emerging risks or constraints, with project stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between project teams, leadership, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including kickoff sessions, workgroup meetings, and stakeholder updates.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across teams.
  • Build collaborative relationships with operational and clinical leaders.
  • Apply standardized PMO methodologies, tools, and templates to all assigned projects.
  • Maintain project documentation, including charters, work plans, status reports, and issue logs.
  • Escalate risks, delays, and issues to the Director as appropriate.
  • Support project intake processes and governance workflows.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor dependencies and proactively address potential barriers.
  • Facilitate resolution of project issues through coordination with stakeholders.
  • Assist in tracking project budgets, expenses, and resource utilization.
  • Coordinate staffing needs and resource assignments in collaboration with departmental leaders.
  • Monitor financial impacts and project-related costs as applicable.
  • Support operational readiness and implementation planning.
  • Coordinate testing, training, and go-live activities.
  • Assist in post-implementation evaluations and project closure documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project workflows and outcomes.
  • Participate in PMO process improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to development of standardized tools, templates, and reporting methods.
  • Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
  • Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
  • Related duties as assigned

Additional Information

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.
