Job description

We are currently looking for a Machine operator trainee and are open to training the right candidate. Initially, this person will start by supporting the team with general duties, including assisting with tooling, material handling and machine operation.
Duties:
  • Set-up and operate cold heading machines
  • Load raw materials into machines and monitor production
  • Inspect finished parts using measuring tools
  • Support tooling changes and simple machine setups
  • Follow production instructions, work orders, and drawings
  • Perform general duties as needed

Shift:
7:00am - 3:30pm
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of machine operator experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
  • Some mechanical knowledge (familiar with machine parts and tooling)
  • Familiar with metal forming and mechanical production equipment
  • Ability to lift/push up to 40 lbs on a regular basis
  • Forklift experience is an asset
  • Able to perform frequent walking, bending, and kneeling
  • Basic computer skills
