Job Description

Serves meals and beverages to patrons in dining establishment by performing the following duties:

    Duties:

    • Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
    • Writes order on check or memorizes it.
    • Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
    • Serves patrons from chafing dish at table.
    • Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
    • Completes all assigned side works and special projects.
    • Must have complete menu and bar knowledge.
    • Totals bill and accepts payment or refers patron to Cashier.

    Qualifications
    • Must complete state-approved alcohol server training within 60 days of hire (per South Carolina law).
    • Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.

    • The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
    • Follow instructions without close supervision.
    • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
    • Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
