Job Summary
The part-time Men's Rowing Coach will assist the Men's Rowing Coach with the organizing, planning and coaching of the Men's Rowing team. The ideal candidate is a former collegiate rower who specializes in coaching and is looking for a career in college coaching.
Essential Functions
- Assist the Men's Rowing Coach during team practices and races. Emphasis on planning and collaboration with coaching staff.
- Assist with student-athlete development athletically and academically
- Assist the head coach with other duties to ensure the success of the program such as fundraising, operations and logistics. Assist in the coordination of team travel with other rowing and athletic department staff
- Follow all university, athletic department, NCAA, and IRA rules and policies
- Assist in the planning and organization of on campus recruiting and camps and clinics
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience.
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- Former collegiate rower or coach with knowledge of rowing.
