Responsibilities
I. JOB SUMMARY:
• Manages the daily operations and directs the administration, management, coordination and integration of programs, regarding patient care activities and services for the areas assigned.
• Ensures functions, services, programs, and activities support short and long-range strategic plans and meet the goals and objectives of The Queen's Medical Center (QMC) and The Queen's Health Systems (QHS).
• Ensures operations and functions are in compliance with regulatory requirements and policies and procedures of QMC and QHS.
• Develops, coordinates, implements, and assesses for effectiveness, programs and projects to promote, enhance, and expand services provided for areas assigned.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Nursing or Healthcare Administration; or four (4) years progressive experience in ambulatory, preferably in a physician practice may be substituted for the educational requirement.
• Master's degree in Business, Nursing, Healthcare Management or related field preferred.
B. CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
• Current Hawaii State license as a Registered Nurse preferred.
C. EXPERIENCE:
• In addition to the educational requirement, four (4) years experience in ambulatory operations or healthcare operations including at least two (2) years supervisory/leadership experience in a healthcare setting, medical office or clinic environment.
• Experience to demonstrate the following:
o Solid knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) and/or other information systems functionality including access and maintenance of the system controls.
o Strong leadership, facilitation and project management skills.
o Skill in dealing with multi-disciplinary teams and an appreciation in working effectively with competing priorities.
o Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
