Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 / year
Description
We are seeking an experienced Client Development Trainer to design, build, and scale a comprehensive training curriculum with experience in non-Agency and non-QM lending. In this role, you will directly influence business growth by delivering high-impact training programs for our Third-Party Origination (TPO) partners, onboarding new clients, and empowering our internal teams. This is a unique opportunity to shape our educational strategy and drive operational excellence across our lending network.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Develop and execute strategic training initiatives and materials that strengthen brand alignment, accelerate product adoption, and drive market share growth.
  • Deliver targeted training sessions for TPO clients, including onboarding welcome calls, product webinars, and systems training; live facilitation is a core, ongoing part of this role, with volume fluctuating based on business needs and onboarding cycles.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain products, systems, and operational process resources, including hands-on troubleshooting and updates as systems and processes change.
  • Produce instructional video content for products and systems in partnership with Marketing.
  • Develop robust instructional documentation and quick-reference tools to drive self-service learning.
  • Maintain version control and accuracy across all learning resources, ensuring materials reflect the most up-to-date processes and system changes.
  • Track and analyze training metrics and evaluate correlations between training participation and downstream outcomes (e.g., production, adoption, retention); report findings and recommendations to sales leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Consult with leadership for ongoing training needs.
  • Oversee training administration, including enrollment management, session scheduling, and attendance tracking.

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum five (5) years' previous experience as a mortgage industry trainer, with emphasis on structural design and live webinar training.
  • Strong track record of managing multiple project timelines simultaneously with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience applying instructional design best practices and educational technologies to create engaging learning materials through webinars, user guides and job aids (e-learning experience a plus).
  • Proven ability to analyze complex information and produce highly detailed, accurate instructional materials.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Good interpersonal skills with all levels of management.
  • Certification from talent and training or mortgage banking associations a plus.
