Job description

Detroit, MI ; Hybrid
The automotive industry is no longer about moving metal; it is about the intelligence that orchestrates the journey. While traditional consultancies are busy retrofitting AI into legacy frameworks, Star was born in the cloud and raised on data.
We are a global technology consultancy that helps enterprises bridge strategy and execution through deep industry expertise and an AI-native delivery engine to design, build and scale digital solutions with lasting business value and end-user impact.
At Star, AI-native isn't a buzzword - it is our cellular structure. This is the core attractor for a leader who wants to move faster and deliver deeper.
Our model is built for practitioner-leaders. We bring strategy, design and engineering together in a streamlined environment that helps teams move faster from ambition to execution, without the friction of traditional consulting structures.
With over a decade of 25% annual growth, we provide the ultimate sandbox for a leader to drive commercial performance and define the "endgame" for the world's most influential automotive brands.
In Automotive & Mobility, we partner with leading OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and mobility innovators, including BMW, NIO, Denso and ConnectedKerb, to shape connected, software-defined and customer-centered mobility experiences.
We are looking for you!

As a Global Head of Automotive & Mobility at Star, you will define, run, and own initiatives that will expand Star's industry market share through our ability to attract, retain, and grow world-class customers through our impactful, high-value adding offerings.
We explicitly welcome candidates from strategy consultancies, Big Four industry practices, and senior professionals from tier-one consultancies seeking to transition into their first leadership role.
What impact you'll make

  • Recruit, activate, and manage high-performance crew members;
  • Work closely with the Marketing and inside sales team on activities that generate lead flow and funnel traction;
