As a key business partner, it connects finance and the commercial organization, leveraging insights from FP&A, Financial Accounting, and Operations COE to support datadriven decisions across pricing, sales strategy, contracts, and overall business planning.

Working closely with sales, procurement, and operations, the role evaluates the financial viability of deals, improves margins, and supports strategic initiatives such as market expansion, new product launches, and cost optimization. Key Responsibilities:
The Head of Commercial Finance is responsible for aligning financial strategies with Business strategies playing a crucial role in the informed decision-making process. This position requires a combination of financial expertise, strategic thinking, and effective communication.

  • Commercial Finance Business Partnering: Act as the primary finance partner to commercial and crossfunctional teams, providing insight, challenge, and guidance to support strategic decisionmaking and value creation across sales, operations, and procurement.

  • Revenue, Pricing & Margin Optimization: Analyze revenue streams, customer and product profitability, pricing strategies, and contract terms to drive margin improvement, support negotiations, and ensure commercial decisions align with profitability targets.

  • Financial Planning, Strategy & Investment Support: Partner with FP&A and senior leadership to develop forecasts, financial models, business cases, and longterm strategies; evaluate investments, expansion opportunities, and capital expenditures through robust financial and risk analysis.

  • Operational Cost, Performance & Working Capital Management: Collaborate with Operations and Procurement to optimize costs, improve efficiency, strengthen working capital and cash flow, and assess the financial impact of operational initiatives, multisite decisions, and new product investments.

  • Risk, Controls & Financial Governance: Support strong financial controls, compliance, audit readiness, and risk management by working closely with the F&A COE to oversee reporting accuracy, credit exposure, cash management, and adherence to accounting standards and legislation.

  • Stakeholder Leadership & Financial Enablement: Serve as a liaison between business leaders and finance COEs, presenting insights to senior leadership and educating nonfinancial stakeholders to strengthen financial literacy, accountability, and performancedriven decisionmaking.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Education & Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; CPA is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

  • Progressive Finance Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive finance experience, including accounting, cost management, FP&A, and business partnering within complex or matrixed environments.

  • Financial & Commercial Acumen: Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, profitability analysis, costing within a manufacturing environment, and supporting commercial decisionmaking.

  • Systems, Standards & Analytics Capability: Working knowledge of SAP, IFRS, and standard cost accounting, with advanced proficiency in Excel and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).

  • Risk, Governance & Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial controls, governance frameworks, risk management, audit support, and compliance with accounting standards and legislation.

  • Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to think strategically while also executing tactically, leading complex initiatives, driving process improvements, and adapting in fastpaced, dynamic environments.

  • Collaboration, Communication & Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to work crossfunctionally, present complex financial information clearly, and partner effectively with diverse stakeholders.
