Job Description/Responsibilities
As the Head of Global Payroll you will provide strategic oversight to a large global customer-centric team in the delivery of Global Payroll, Time, & Attendance Services across the global markets. You will collaborate with other members of the HR Leadership to define and drive strategy in alignment with organizational goals & objectives. This critical leader will oversee end to end servicing for Global Payroll/Time & Attendance, including strategic vision and oversight for innovative payroll support and processes, multiple geographically dispersed payroll models, compliance, and controllership. This leader will analyze, set, and drive the overall strategy and roadmap for Global Payroll/Time & Attendance and foster relationships with various internal stakeholders through cross functional collaboration in delivery of HR services. They will use operational experience and expertise, data-driven insights, and business acumen to identify the greatest areas of opportunity to elevate the employee experience.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead the strategic vision, roadmap, and operational oversight for Global Payroll and Time & Attendance functions, managing U.S. and international payroll operations, vendor relationships, compliance, and controllership activities for 7,000+ employees.
  • Direct global payroll compliance and governance initiatives by implementing tiered service models, establishing data governance practices, conducting audits and account reviews, and ensuring adherence to international payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor requirements.
  • Enhance service delivery and employee experience by fostering strong partnerships with HR, business leaders, and COE teams, while optimizing regional multi-tier service centers and driving continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Champion operational excellence by integrating and stabilizing payroll and timekeeping service channels, identifying cross-functional efficiencies, eliminating errors, and implementing corrective actions to improve accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop high-performing teams through mentorship, training, performance management, succession planning, and career development initiatives, while executing strategic priorities and projects aligned with overall company goals.

Qualifications/Requirements
Required:
  • 10 years relevant experience (minimum)
  • In-depth knowledge of global payroll practices, regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements across multiple countries and regions with strong understanding of statutory deductions, tax rates, social security requirements, and benefits regulations globally.
  • Expert level Payroll knowledge in US and Canada and extensive experience in managing relationships with global payroll service providers and vendors.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software or systems for end-to-end global payroll processing like ADP Globalview, ADP Celergo, Ceridian Excelity and Kronos Time & Attendance. Ceridian Dayforce experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field
  • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification
