Head of Clinical Unit – Operating Room Willing to work in the area mentioned and ideally owns a means of transport. Ability to work in one of the following settings: CHSLD, CLSC, hospital (CH) or private setting. Location: MONTREAL-Quebec, Canada (home and partner establishments) Contract type: Full-time or part-time (permanent/fixed-term contract depending on needs) Schedule: Day, evening or night depending on assignments and availability Compensation: up to $65/assignment + bonuses, transportation reimbursement, ongoing training About Asicc-Med – Mobile Health: Asicc-Med is a Quebec-based organization committed to providing safe, compassionate care that meets the highest professional standards. We value clinical leadership, organizational rigor, and continuous improvement to ensure exemplary perioperative care in both hospital and private settings. Main responsibilities: Leadership and team management: Leading and inspiring a team of healthcare professionals Develop and implement innovative clinical protocols and procedures Promoting continuous improvement in patient care and operational efficiency Managing staff schedules and resource allocation Create a positive and collaborative work environment Clinical excellence: Oversee all aspects of perioperative care Ensuring compliance with professional standards and best practices Managing medication protocols and safety measures Leading infection prevention and control initiatives Supervise the sterilization and reprocessing of medical devices Quality and safety: Managing accreditation activities with Accreditation Canada Develop and maintain quality assurance programs Implement and monitor security protocols Coordinate staff training and professional development Managing risk assessment and mitigation Qualifications required to succeed: Training and accreditations: College diploma in nursing with 3+ years of experience OR Bachelor of Science in Nursing Member in good standing of the OIIQ ACLS Certification Minimum 3 years of experience in an operating room (hospital or private center) Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) Solid knowledge of ORNAC standards Leadership skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate healthcare teams Excellence in communication and problem-solving Strong decision-making capabilities under pressure Commitment to continuous learning Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Technical skills: Proficiency in electronic medical records Experience with surgical planning systems Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies Understanding of health regulations and standards
