Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is looking for a Server Assistant at Goldfinch Tavern who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate dining experience. The Server Assistant is part of a dynamic team that provides award winning service to our restaurant and hotel guests. This position reports to the Goldfinch Tavern management team. U.S. work authorization is required for this position.
Key Elements of the Job
  • Maintain ownership of duties through hard work and discipline

  • Anticipate the needs of guest's and co-workers instantaneously

  • Clear and tables, assist the floor and enhance guest's dining experiences

  • Deliver food and provide eloquent food descriptions in a synchronized manner

  • Assist bartenders and cocktail servers, which requires a broad understanding of cocktails

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Positive attitude with a generous and uplifting team approach
  • Strong work ethic which includes a drive to grow, improve and learn everyday
  • Proactively anticipate and prioritize the needs of the guest
  • Energetic approach to his/her craft
  • Calm composure under pressure
  • Excellent people skills
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 40lbs
  • Restaurant experience preferred
