Assistant Head Respiratory Therapist (Northern Quebec) Employment conditions: Willing to work in the area mentioned and ideally owns a means of transport. Full-time / Part-time – Variable shift Salary: Up to $80/contract plus other benefits (bonuses, transportation reimbursement, continuing education plan, etc.) About Asicc-Med – Mobile Health: Since 1992, Asicc-Med has been supporting health establishments, hospitals, CLSCs, CHSLDs, rehabilitation centers, private residences and home services throughout Quebec. Our values: Respect Kindness Professionalism Integrity Collaboration Job description: We are seeking an assistant head respiratory therapist to support clinical coordination, supervision of respiratory therapy activities and team leadership in various healthcare settings. The person acts in support of the chief respiratory therapist in the management of clinical operations, the organization of work and the assurance of the quality of respiratory care. Main responsibilities: Supporting the coordination of clinical activities in respiratory therapy Assist the head respiratory therapist in managing the teams Participate in the organization of schedules and assignments Supervise and mentor respiratory therapists in a clinical setting Ensuring the quality and compliance of respiratory care Collaborating with medical and interdisciplinary teams Participating in the management of complex clinical situations Contribute to the integration and training of staff Ensure compliance with professional standards and Law 25 Participate in the continuous improvement of clinical practices Requirements: Training and permits: DEC in respiratory therapy techniques Member in good standing of the Professional Order of Respiratory Therapists of Quebec (OPIQ) Right to practice in Quebec Experience : Significant clinical experience in inhalation therapy Experience in supervision or coordination (a significant asset) Professional skills: Clinical leadership and team spirit Management and coordination skills Rigour and a sense of responsibility Good communication skills Autonomy and sound clinical judgment Proficiency in spoken and written French Strengths: Experience in clinical team management Knowledge of diverse hospital environments Driver's license and vehicle Required documents (Quebec labour standards): Up-to-date curriculum vitae Proof of diploma (DEC in respiratory therapy) Proof of registration with the OPIQ Professional references Valid work permit (if applicable) Any other certification required according to the mandate Employment equity: At Asicc-Med, we believe that every skill has its place.
