Job Description

AIM is currently seeking a Labourer for its La Prairie site. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the position holder receives various types of metals, performs an initial classification, and directs them to the appropriate locations.

What you'll be responsible for: 

• Welcoming customers courteously while following our procedures and requirements
• Assisting with unloading materials
• Sorting different types of metals based on their characteristics
• Inspecting customer metals
• Identifying the correct type of metal for each product and validating its quality
• Weighing metals on the scale
• Entering data into the RECY software
• Working with various types of equipment (forklift)
• Preparing receiving and shipping tickets
• Ensuring cleanliness of the premises
• Performing all other related tasks

Qualifications

• You have One to three years of experience in a similar position
• You have Knowledge of metal recycling (major asset)
• You have Experience operating a forklift (major asset; training provided on site)
• You are bilingual (asset)
