Job description

Position Summary:

Oak Creek Golf Club is the home of a best in class Practice Facility. The Practice Facility Attendants are responsible for operating and maintaining the Practice Facility to ensure that the facility continues to be the best in Orange County. They will do so under the supervision of the Head Golf Professional, Assistant Golf Professional, and or supervisor. 
 

Key Responsibilities:

● Work with managers and employees to achieve common goals, objectives that meet or exceed guest expectations.
● Assist with enforcing company policies, rules, and regulations.
● Maintain a professional appearance.
● Perform opening and closing procedure for the Tee, Landing Area, Teaching Professional and Building.
● Assist guest with purchases.
● Inspect practice range and golf school area daily.
● Retrieve golf balls out of rough when practical and safe.
● Set up hitting deck and insure that all items are placed properly and ready for arriving guests.
● Check bathrooms for cleanliness hourly and restock/clean as needed.
● Maintain equipment used at the facility including washing pickers and carts used daily.
● Keep exterior and parking lot of the practice facility clean and free of trash.
● Work closely with the Tournament Operations Coordinator and Assistant Golf Professionals to prepare for golf events and tournaments.
● Have complete knowledge of and comply with facility safety standards and procedures.
● Promote programs and promotions to maximize revenue.
● Any other special projects and duties as assigned by the Head Golf Professional.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year experience in a high profile, customer service environment.

Other Expectations: 

  • Must have strong customer/guest orientation
  • Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred
  • Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
  • Organized, able to work well in fast paced environment
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
  • Must be dependable
  • Must have passion for the game of golf and enjoy talking about it with our guests
  • Valid California driver’s license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law. (This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company’s MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.)

 Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $17.40 - $20.14

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
