Perfectly Seasoned Catering is looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated Culinary Team Chef to join our team! We are a family-owned catering company serving everything from corporate lunches and private parties to weddings and large-scale events throughout the Stateline area.


This is a hands-on culinary position for someone who enjoys variety, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in producing consistently high-quality food.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a wide variety of menu items for catered events, corporate orders, weddings, and special events
  • Follow recipes, portioning standards, and presentation expectations
  • Assist with daily food preparation, production, packaging, and event execution
  • Maintain consistency in food quality, flavor, appearance, and portion size
  • Work efficiently alongside our culinary team to complete production on schedule
  • Assist with receiving, rotating, labeling, and properly storing food products
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
  • Assist with kitchen opening, closing, and cleaning responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with culinary leadership and other team members
  • Be willing to jump in wherever needed during busy production and event days


What We're Looking For

  • Previous professional kitchen or culinary experience required
  • Catering, banquet, high-volume, or restaurant experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knife skills and general culinary knowledge

Schedule

This position requires flexibility based on our catering and event schedule. Hours may include weekdays, early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Catering schedules vary from week to week, so applicants should be comfortable working outside of a traditional Monday–Friday kitchen schedule.


Physical Requirements

Applicants must be able to stand for extended periods of time, work in a commercial kitchen environment, and safely lift and carry approximately 40–50 pounds as needed.
