Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the Banking sector and hands-on experience managing AI/ML initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering AI-driven projects within banking environments while coordinating cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of AI/ML and data science projects within banking or financial services.
  • Translate business objectives into project scope, milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, product owners, and business teams to ensure alignment on goals.
  • Lead stakeholder meetings, status reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and data governance policies in the banking domain.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines while ensuring high-quality output.
  • Drive agile project management practices (Scrum/Kanban) and implement continuous improvement strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management.
  • 4+ years of experience managing AI/ML or data-driven projects.
  • Strong domain knowledge in banking or financial services – retail, corporate, risk, payments, etc.
  • Proven track record delivering complex tech initiatives in regulated environments.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence).
  • Understanding of AI concepts like NLP, predictive analytics, machine learning, etc.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and vendor management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) in the context of data/AI solutions.
  • Familiarity with banking compliance frameworks (e.g., Basel, GDPR, AML/KYC).
  • Previous experience working with cross-border or global delivery teams.
