As a member of our Customer Experience team you will provide exceptional customer service support for existing and new HCTC customers. You will play an important role in providing customers with assistance for all aspects of their telecom services, billing, installation and direct them to technical support when necessary. You'll work with customers to recommend, sell, and understand the networks and devices connected to HCTC internet services. Essential job functions are:

  • Knowledge of computer operating systems
  • Knowledge of cloud, network and wireless technologies, platforms and applications
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective, professional and courteous communication skills
  • Promote and sell HCTC services through upselling of existing customers and outbound calls
  • Ability to prioritize multiple job assignments in a dynamic environment

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of formal instruction and relevant experience with various consumer technologies including computers, computer networks and phone/conferencing systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products such as Word and Excel
  • Experience/familiarity with telecommunication access solutions, DSL, fiber access technologies and wireless access systems
  • Valid driver's license required

This is a full-time position that typically works 40 hours per week. Occasional after-hours work may be required.
