Job Summary and Qualifications Under the general administrative direction of the Assistant Administrator, the Director of Facilities Management is responsible for the overall management of the following Support Service functions: Engineering, Construction, Security, Safety, PBX and project management. Responsible for Support Services throughout the hospital, Medical Office Buildings, and off site buildings. Serves as the Safety Officer to include: directs ongoing, organization wide collection of information about deficiencies and opportunities for improvement in the environment of care, reviews summaries of deficiencies, problems, failures, and user errors related to managing safety, security, hazardous materials and waste, disaster preparedness, life safety, medical equipment, and utility systems. Draws on other sources of information, such as published hazard or recall reports. Reports on findings, recommendations, actions taken, and results of measurement. Regularly participates in hazard surveillance and incident reporting. Participates in the development of safety policies and procedures What qualifications you will need:
